Terms of use
Last updated 26 August 2026
These terms cover using this website and the client-facing software Emes Studios runs on it — the pages where you read and sign an agreement, view an invoice, or see how a song is progressing.
These terms are not the production agreement. The work itself — what is included, what it costs, revisions, credit and ownership — is covered by the separate agreement you sign for each song. Where that agreement and these terms differ about the work, the signed agreement wins.
Using the software
Where the studio gives you access — a link to sign an agreement, a link to view an invoice, or an account — that access is for you, for your own project. Please don’t share the links: they are specific to you, and anyone holding one can see what they show.
You agree not to:
- try to reach information belonging to anyone else;
- probe, scan or interfere with the site or the systems behind it;
- use it to break the law, or to send anything unlawful or abusive.
Signing electronically
Typing your name where the studio’s agreement asks for it is your signature and counts the same as signing on paper. When you sign, the studio records your name, the time, and the exact text you agreed to, so that both sides can show later what was actually signed. You will be emailed a copy.
Invoices and payment
An invoice link shows what is owed and how to pay. Payment itself happens outside this software — by bank transfer or cheque — so no card or bank details are ever entered here, and the studio never asks for them on this site. Amounts, deposits and timing are governed by your signed agreement.
The studio’s work
Text, images and recordings on this site belong to Emes Studios or to the artists credited, and are not to be reused without permission. Rights in the music produced for you are dealt with in your signed agreement, not here.
Availability
The studio aims to keep this running and reachable, but does not promise it will never be unavailable. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or by problems at the services it depends on. If something you need is not working, contact the studio and it will be dealt with by a person.
Limits
The website and software are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, Emes Studios is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using them. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here reduces the studio’s obligations under a signed production agreement.
Ending access
The studio may withdraw access for misuse of the kind described above. Doing so does not end any agreement about work already underway, and does not affect money already paid — those are governed by the signed agreement.
Privacy
What the studio collects and who else sees it is set out in the privacy policy.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them. A change here never alters an agreement you have already signed.
